Deep-Cleansing Charcoal Face Mask
A targeted face mask for serious deep-cleaning. Charcoal, a key active ingredient effectively draws dirt and toxic build-up from the skin for a smoother, more radiant skin tone. Use after cleansing.
Charcoal acts as a magnet for the nasty stuff clogging your pores and then lets you wash it away. If you have oily skin or a specific problem area, charcoal is an ideal ingredient to fight excess oil.
Pineapple contains the enzyme ‘bromelain’ which is beneficial for conditioning the skin, for exfoliation, and to soothe inflamed, irritated, or sore skin.
Honey has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties. Honey also has humectant qualities which means that it actually attracts moisture to it from the air, and then retains it in the skin, making the skin remains supple and elastic.
Mix 1 teaspoon of face mask powder with water or facial tonic (or your chosen liquid), and mix to form a smooth paste. After cleansing, apply the paste to your skin in a smooth, even layer, avoiding the lips and delicate eye area. Lie back and relax for up to 10 minutes. Remove the mask with warm water, rinse your skin with cool water, and then pat dry. Follow with Facial Moisturiser.
