Rose & Geranium Soap
Useful for all skin types, the blend of rose and geranium in this soap makes it valuable for a variety of skin conditions, including dry skin and eczema. The subtle scent helps to balance the mind and lift the spirits.
Rose is especially good for dry, mature or sensitive skins, though rose’s tonic and soothing action makes it useful for all skin types.
Geranium is useful for all skin types due to its balancing action on sebum (the skin’s own natural oil which keeps skin supple), geranium is good for sluggish, congested skins and overall is an excellent skin cleanser. Geranium also helps to enliven pale skin through its circulation-stimulating action.
Shea butter has wonderful healing qualities due to the presence of several fatty acids and plant sterols, namely oleic, stearic, palmitic and linolenic acids which lend their anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant qualities to the butter. The addition of shea butter means our soaps aren’t as drying as some commercial soaps can be.
Rinse the soap bar under warm water and massage between your hands to form a soft lather. Massage the lather over your hands or any part of your skin you wish to clean, then rinse your skin with warm water. Avoid getting any soap into your eyes. Rinse immediately with cool water if this happens. Keep your soaps firmer for longer by storing on a soap dish between uses.
Saponified olea europaea (olive), Cocos Nucifera (coconut) and Helianthus annuus (sunflower) oils, Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, Rosa gallica (rose) petals, Pelargonium graveolens (geranium) oil.
