Softening Facial Oil
A gentle facial oil for sensitive skin. Sesame seed oil, one of the key botanical ingredients effectively delivers essential nutrients to soften and nourish the skin, resulting in a calmer, smoother complexion. Use daily after cleansing.
Sesame seed oil is softening and nourishing to the skin, mostly thanks to its high levels of omega 6 essential fatty acids. Used extensively in India as a healing oil, it can be helpful for those with eczema, psoriasis, and skin irritations. Sesame seed oil is naturally antibacterial, and is protective to the skin against the drying effects of harsh weather and central heating.
Sunflower seed oil has high levels of linoleic acid, and omega 6 essential fatty acid, which means it is very nourishing to the skin. Sunflower oil also works well by interacting with active ingredients within a skincare product and helping the skin to absorb them to better effect.
Lavender is an all-rounder herb for skin health and wellbeing. It is valuable for most skin types because it promotes the growth of healthy new skin cells, as well as offering a balancing effect. Lavender has a strong healing effect, and so is useful for acne, eczema and psoriasis, as well as sunburn and irritation.
After cleansing and applying facial mist, smooth a drop or two of facial oil between the palms of your hands and gently massage into face and neck. Apply extra as required.
Softening Facial Oil can be used in place of facial moisturiser, or followed by facial moisturiser for extra nourishment. Our facial oils can be used as part of your daily ritual, or as part of a weekly or monthly at-home facial.
